I've just finished putting the finishing touches on my '69 FL rebuild. I bought this bike in Nov. of 2004, one "before" pic is attached. Took me about a year to get on the road. All the big stuff is stock '69 HD with a few mods to clean it up. Lowered 1.5" front & back. Lost the frame mounted hand shifter & made a jockey shifter. All paint is powder coat, local guy who looks just like Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull but sure knows how to lay it down smooth.

I havent seen anybody talk about going to the sport bike deal out in west TX(Iraan). It's in mid April & looks to be a hoot. I've been told it's a competition of those crazy fuckers that like to go down the road at 70 MPH plus doing wheelstands & standing beside thier bike. I'm going to meet up w/some buds from Kerrville & check it out. Would like to meet up with some Austin folks who like riding to that kind of stuff.

Later,
John

Hey Bill,
I'm keepin the old bars & stock internal throttle. I'll ask our local used parts hoarder about a right side.
