I've searched and have just come up more confused than before so I thought I'd ask. 1950 pan el, 16" wheels.

What size and type tires would you run and why?

Thanks in advance - SJ

I run the Avon MK/SM, the high sidewall tires. It's all opinion, but the higher sidewalls make it ride a little better, and give you more clearance in the turns. Not a high-performance tire by any stretch, but it does OK and has nice grooves for rain. Conversely, it's not great on grated roads, for the same reason.

I used a Avon Roadrunner (R2) MT90/16 on the back of my Panhead. Vintage looking tread, but stays under you a little better than the MK II in corners (just my opinion)
