While i love the look of what your doing - we had rode this type machine every day and most of the night - the roads in NYC are and were like a mountain loose rock pass with street caves bent and bottomed it a 1000 times

hope your roads are a better deal my back and right ankle still hates me for it

John jzjz My back is already shot so the panhead won’t get a lot of miles
but I’m sure having a blast building it!

Dave that’s a memory - never forgot how simple they were and 55 years ago they were every place

You use less air in the tire just enough so it does not feel like its going flat - as the summer gets hotter it will increase in pressure like race tires - finding the happy spot will keep you on it more - when we were doing this the gas stations had free air so a pocket gage and some cruising on a nice day gets you real close

That’s why I took off the 18” rear wheel and low profile metzler going with 16” and 5.10 high profile tire and as you say air it down some

They tip close to 400 lbs

Front forks back together with lower legs polished new seals & fresh oil
And new avon speedmaster tire
