Howdy:

Gots an 'E' carb on the new Shovel and absolutely hate the S&S teardrop air cleaner.

Looking for alternatives - clean, neat and strictly business - no high falutin' shit - but, want a K&N or equivalent air cleaner compatible.

No, no stacks of any kind either.

Whatcha got to show - thanks in advance.

Here's two I made last weekend. But they are not for everyone. Both use K&N filters. You can get K&N to custom build any size filter you need to fit whatever your fabricating. I try to stay away from foam filters as they don't flow enough air and if your trying to build a smaller filter they really won't flow enough air and if they do, they won't filter it. But I prefere airhorns and have had no problems for the last 20 years running them. On gravel roads quite often too.

That finned one is kinda cool. Lots of guys used to take harmonica microphones or drive in theater mics and modify them into aircleaners too. The neatest one was where a guy I used to ride with in South Minneapolis back in the early 80's had an old cast aluminum art deco radio for an air cleaner. Knobs and everything.

You should just email me with what you want and it can be in the mail to you usually the next week. And usually cheaper than ebay. Ebay serves as a filler for me. I can't make just a few items I need to do stuff in batches and ebay takes care of some of the extra. Remember, I prefer trades and it keeps the taxman away.

I like the old cheese grader kind. cheep will fit 'bout anything, and you can cut down a toro tractor element to fit.
