Okie on Board

Just joined. Have a love affair with bikes. Bought my first in 1972, it was a Yamaha Enduro 250cc. I liked riding in the woods and old logging roads. My one foray into competition back then was on a BSA Goldstar which I rode in a Field Trial at the John Zink Ranch near Tulsa. Then we jump a few years to 2009 when I came down with a severe case of "Salt Fever". I have built a Yamaha RZ 350 which I race ( with some buddies ) at Bonneville. We are still about 23mph away from the record but 2012 just could be the year.
