OK Folks, be careful out there ( VIEW AT YOUR DISCRETION - VERY GRAPHIC! )

This is a serious post.

I've been working public safety (Fire/Rescue) volunteer & career for over 20 years....I get pics and info on a regular basis, I thought I would share this with y'all

THESE ARE EXTREMELY GRAPHIC!

Click on this link

these are photos from a Gixxer that crashed at better than 170 mph

I don't post these for the shock value (hence, why I'm posting them off-site) but just to remind everyone what CAN happen....I laid mine down about three months ago, in first gear and cracked a rib and had the right arm in a sling for a month...so you don't have to be a squirrelly squid on a crotch rocket to get messed up

If you have trouble with the link, lemme know

Don't mean to upset anyone....so view at your discretion

HOLY FUCK!!! Not sure it was a good idea to post this link. My thought was "okay, I've seen grim shit, how bad could it be...?" FUCKING HORRIBLE! For those of you who aren't effected by this stuff or want shivers, a sick stomach, and freaky thoughts everytime you get on your bike... please view the link. No offense taken, but DAMN! I will now personally re-evaluate when I tell myself "how bad could the pictures be..."

----Happy thoughts inserted here----

like I said...it is not my goal to shock or offend....just keep it in the back of your mind....
This maybe an odd question (and not meaning to diminish) but why is there one sneaker and one riding boot?

Did he hit something head on? I would think a lay down would scatter body parts more.

And no I'm not trying to be heartless or humorous at all. just the facts. Gore and gruesome don't really affect me, I've seen enough too vaccinate me. But I am intrigued by the story of it. And it is a sorry sight no matter the circumstances. Hotdogging around and this is what the family is left behind. Its is a damn good reminder of what can happen, and all who it involves.

definately a graphic picture.I have a friend that rides a crotch rocket and does insane tricks as long as he's wearing a full face helmet.I tell him if he goes down at 70 doing a wheelie it's not going to help him that much.I think a lot of the younger guys, and some of us old guys thing were ten foot tall and bullet proof.I've been down hard a couple times and have a new found respect for what my pan can do to me if i'm not paying attention.

damn. I don't know about finding these pics on the net. If you took them fine, and if you did, WTF? I work with digital art everyday and I can do some pretty believeable shit with compositing an image. and there are artists out there that can do a hell of alot better than me. Not saying that this is fake but it could be for the shock value yano. the imperfections of the mismatched shoes are a clue to its validity.

I received the pics from my boss (I work for the Va. Office of Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Operations Branch)

I get pics from localities, fire depts & rescue squads regularly. Many are used in training programs, etc.

I don't know much back history regarding location, scenario for these pics.

Due to the nature of this board, I don't suspect too many of us will be going 170+ on a crotch rocket....but we share the road with those who do....occasionally it's good to be reminded of what CAN happen, because if we fail to not only watch out for ourselves but also for the other guy, we can end up like Toecutter from Mad Max...

Hate to throw a wet blanket on the party....

I saw those same pics like a month ago on some other site too...Apparently he is "together" like that because they gethered him up from all over and put him in one pile..God that is a sick thing to have to do.. He went back into the trees at spped was what they said..The tennis shoe was more than likely one of those odd random shoes you see laying along the road.
