Been thinking about dropping my '71 tr6r ( thanks model-a- fan ) about 2 to 3 inches...forks..no problem...but rear springs ?
What should I use...any idea ? Just looking to get the pre-OIF heigth...thanks...dudley

Just measure your shocks....then hit the swap meet and look for shorter replacement shocks. I bought a new pair (take off's) for my sporty project for five bucks.

Dudley, I know this is thread drift and I apologize ahead of time BUT

What is that seat in your piccy? It's fitting an OIF?

yes it's a cafe style OIF...but you might want to ask hatch or model-a-fan...as it was there when I got it...dudley

Still lookin'...anyone know of a straight interchange or slight modify...not many swap meets around here...dudley

2-3 inch drop...

Hey Dudley...are looking to close the gap from the fender to the tire or do you need it that low...2 - 3 " shock drop and I think you will be bottoming out alot..
