Smaller than I expected, is that stock and accurate? I see these timken conversions for sale but of course no one as details about the bearings and races. Last time I had a stock springer in my hands there was zero chance of fitting l44643 stock bearing without shaving the stem. Wondering if the l44649 is the one they are using and a correct fit, which uses the stock l44610 cup in 60+ neck cups.

On mine it is 1.005. A Timken bearing is a tight fit.

If I remember right,, 1 1/16 is the step,, I know the 45 with 7/8 stem is 15/16"

get the manual :D
Its not in the manual, that I've seen. and even if it were, just as a Harley stem for 1" l44643 bearings isn't actually 1.000"; is the reason I asked for an actual measurement, as opposed to someones "memory" to the 1/8th of an inch. As an aside, weren't you the one that just started a whole thread lamenting over the fact that people just say "get a manual"?

Anyways, rubone, thank you again for the info.
