That looks to be a 500 twin . with a weld on hardtail . Pretty cool but I'd hate to try and find parts for it . The 750 are muych easier to find parts for .

Trumpnut, What makes you think it's a 500cc?
I think the last 500cc twin RE made was the Meteor Minor/Tommahawk about '62-'63. It's obvious in the listing the guy isn't sure what he stumbled onto.

I looked REAL hard at buying a nice, stock, running '65 Interceptor in the mid '90s. $3K would have taken it home. I was laid off at the time, and didn't have the cash. In hindsight, I should have borrowed the $. I've regretted it ever since; can't touch 'em for that now.

I just past up a Interceptor for 2 grand . I don't now much about them so i'd rather spend the money on a Norton or something . By the way did you ever use those Neck tubes ?

$2K is a good price for a decent RE 750.

No, haven't used the neck yet. Got a couple of projects to finish first.
