here's a short intro...

my name is THOM.... 34y/o... i live in BERWYN, il ....
i'm an engineer for the B&O chicago terminal railroad....
i am a lowrider who also likes hot rods, customs and bikes...
like everybody else i bought an xs650.. i bought it from DJANGO,...
he had commissioned HATCH to build one of his signature yamahas...
but DJANGO stumbled into an XL... so i scored his project...
here it was last week.... i'll have update photos as the week progresses...

thanx for the warm welcome....
i'm trying to find pics of my old triumph...
it was a 68 bonnie...amen savior frame...narrow 70's springer
i'll have to look in the attic...
here's a pic of my last bike.....

it's was just an old softail.... it was Plowbys for awhile, i traded him my bike for his model A ... i think he just sold the bike....
i've always wanted to put together a little jap bike.... and the xs650's have a very low buy in (for now) and the kool factor is high with just a little work....
i'm just going to do some cosmetic stuff for the time being... HATCH got it running quite well..... so far i've learned alot about the wiring, lowered it, and i'm getting ready to change the headlight, (much to DJANGO'S chagrin) bars and spill some paint on it.... also got me some all-metal to erase all traces of it's heritage.... next year i'm going to build the sporster i've had banging around in my head for the last 10 years.... for now this is FUN....

Sorry i missed you dude. Dont even get me started about why i had to leave though. The tank does look sweet like that. That bike has a real nice look to it. I hopefully i am gonna go look at a 650 this weekend but it is probably sold just like every other one i look at. Talk to you soon bro.
