hey guys,
i've been looking on this board far too long, and it has been addicting.
So it was about time I joined you!
been rattlecanning bikes since I was 16, still have my first ratbike, which you'll see in the pic. The bus in the back is my daily driver,
and I just made my maiden voyage on my Yamama XS650 hardtail.
I'm 28 and live in the Netherlands and NO I don't smoke weed (anymore!)

It's a Honda C70 from the seventies or so, (like in the pic)
Ever since I saw Smitty's Knucklehead rat in a magazine I started putting this one together

the springs are part of the seat, the springs on front are "fake"
I had an oldtimer come up to me saying that he drove one of those in the war!!! No shit!
Must have been drinking
It was the best compliment ever!

lotsa duck-tape, iron wire and battery acid went over that one!
At that time I even had a bucket full with water to make my parts rusty!

That "ratbike" has to be among the ugliest things I've ever seen. No offense, to each his own I guess. But damn.
