Okay, my last chain was pretty much ready right out of the box, buy my new one is different. I just bought a new Renolds, non-oring chain and it came in a bag covered with a lube of some kind. Should I run it as-is, just wiping off the excess? Or should I strip it with gasoline and start from scratch, re-lubing it?

Any recomendations for lubes for non-oring type chains?
