Allright!
My first question on this magnificent board! I´m building an old style Triumph pre unit bobber.I´ve been looking for some cool oil bag for a long time now and finally found one. My question is what the recomended minimum oil tank capacity is for a pre unit 650??

I´m building the triumph in a mid sixties style, white grips, pegs and seat, Mcm chromed fork covers, you got it, if anyone got any cool ideas for the paint job please let me know!! I was thinking black frame with tank and fender in gold with ivory scallops, any other cool ideas?!

Thanks // Henrik/ Sweden

atleast three

if you can find a 4 quart you like it would'nt be a bad idea....more oil stays cleaner longer and on an ol trump can't ever hurt

not a triumph expert but a lot of 650-750 jap bikes only hold 1.5 to 2 qts.
hell, a volkswagen holds just a hair under 4 qts. the main thing to watch for in any engine oil system is good filtration, adaquate flow and temps under 180 degrees.
