Very nice looking start. Keep the photos coming.
Very cool Kevin...a ULH is one of my dream bikes that I hope to have one day...there's just something about those Flathead engines that I love...

Thanx for posting up the pics...I will eagerly await the progress pics!!!

I agree, great start!
love the big flattys, but lose the indian tank
Nice Kevin, I've said it many times, of all the bikes and parts I've sold over the years, the only one I really regret selling is my '37 ULH. Looking forward to seeing it come together!
Thanks all. This one will evolve as time goes on, but I'm not looking for styling tips from anyone, just showing the progress as it evolves and comes together..thanks.
Anything that old, is going to be cool. One of my dream bikes too.
no 1 mention the eye popping pri cover , thatd be rare as. nice
Awesome! Coincidentally Royal Mailed dropped off your book to me yesterday. Looking forward to the build.

With a little luck, one day I hope to stumble upon a ULH that I can afford. I fell big time for my friend's when I redid his and now I want one almost as much as I wanted my Knuckle. But I need to finish the 45 and get back to the Knuckle rebuild, then I can look for a big twin flattie. I'm looking forward to seeing how you do yours. I'm sure I'll pick up a lot of great ideas to work from.
just lookin on the board today and what do i see 2 cool flatties at the top.its a good day! keep building , that primary cover is cool, hope it makes the cut.
Nice Kevin! Been collecting stuff for my '37 UL. Motor should be done in a week or two.
Kevin...Gives me inspiration to finish mine..46 motor..34 VL frame and front end..16+19 star hubs...Indian Chief tanks...hate to say I have been working on this 10yrs..although I did lose the first 38 motor when the shop burned down in 08 ..this picture was taken after I found the 2nd set of cases and heads, but hadn't rebuilt the motor again yet..2nd motor is done now though.....so I Guess I have a little bit of an exscuse for not finishing it ..like the way your looks so far...but I think you could loose the tank.;-)
Thanks all. This one will evolve as time goes on, but I'm not looking for styling tips from anyone..thanks.
amen on that one teach. excellent looking bike so far and that is a really cool tank wether you use it or not looks really good man. hows school going?
Not sure if its an indian or a triumph, I twill drop the tank tunnel to let it sit down on the frame more and this may be it.
