The rearsets that I bought for my little project don't quite fit right, so I need to make a bracket that relocates the rear master cylinder. It will bolt to the rearset with two nuts & bolts, then the master cylinder will mount to it with two nuts & bolts.

My question is - Should I use steel or will aluminum be strong enough? I was thinking 3/16" thick. I'd hate to hit the brakes and have it tear out of the bracket.

Thanks,
Jay

That's what I was hoping I'd hear. Now to get to the surplus store and pick some up cheap. Thanks Gumby Chuck!
