I keep blowing my headlight bulbs. By blowing I mean, the lowbean goes out and then I'll switch to high and in the same day that is gone. I go thru about 2-3 bulbs a week. At first I thought it was due to the fact that I'm running a springer frontend and the fact that DC has fucking terrible roads. The headlight is mounted directly to the springer with a small metal bracket. I was going to put some rubber grommets to dampen things, but then the other day I'm riding, see the low is gone and switch to the high. I don't hit any bumps, nothing jarring and within a minute the high is gone as well. So, this now seems to be an electrical issue?? The light is grounded.
Anyone have suggestions or advice?
Thanks.
