ouch, there's a few cracks there!
you getting a new frame or getting that fixed?

I'd be looking for a frame. If that's what you can see, what else is waiting to fail once repairs are complete.

Why? The frames are notorious for cracking there from what I've been told, have weleer will weld lol

fair enough...

the existing ones yes, clearly are a case of getting the welder out... but i think the issue is I'd be thinking "if there's so many cracks.... where is the next one going to show up?"

There was only one crack, the others were just poor welds, but considering its from 1961 I figured it's understandable lol

I'm glad you fixed those welds. One looks like the cut the tube to fit the hardtail,cut in the center of an existing hole,no penetration. Damn bro,be safe. Post more pix.

Couple up dated pics, got rear sissy bar and fender mounted, gas tank mounts done,, on the hunt for a disc brake front forks now
