As I mentioned in my intro I'm thinking about going to a rigid frame for my shovel. To get the new frame I need to sell my curent one to get the funds. A buddy wants to buy my frame (including the swingarm). What do you suppose a fair price is? I think the title would go with the frame, right? I tired to get an idea by checking eBay etc.. but the prces are all over the place. The frame is in good shape. The original tank mounts are gone, late model rubber mount fatbob mounts are there now. Thanks

Why not just weld a hard-tail on your existing frame and save the DMV hassles? They also look good if done correctly.
I agree with Dr. Jett.If you decide you have to buy a new frame, check on getting plates and trying to purchase insurance first. The suggestion of using the old frame will seem like a good idea.
You're absolutly right, the prices are all over the place. I would say since your frame has been modified it's probably worth $1k. possibly more on ebay because you never know. Probably closer to $800 at a swap meet. The title really is the selling point.
