Nice bars, whats the deal with those cut off springer legs?

D.
thanks for the compliments on the bars

i have a few springers that are in need of repair
the one in the pic is getting saved and put back to stock length
who ever did the extension on it a while ago was smart and did it proper in regards to where they cut the legs but they used rebar as slugs so im able to take the extended section out and re slug it properly and put it back to stock length

i have another one that had the legs cut off at the bottom of the crown
and is in not as good shape
that one is going to get narrowed 3" in width and go 4 over in length with some radius rods because i dont have any stock legs legs to fix it with

im working on setting up a jig right now for it
should have the jig done over the weekend
