my favorite model of mc motor,1947 61" knucklehead EL. someday gonna get the time to finish restoring this bike. i have yet to own my second favorite hd motor / bike, a twin cam. not the new fangled rubbie evo p.o.s., but the real deal, a 1929 JDH. some day...

Knucks, Pans, and Shovels--Everyone should have at least one each. (G) Evos will probably be cool collectables before it's all over, better get yours now before the rush.

The two Pans are a 48 and a 52. They were complete bikes and I paid $300 apiece for them back in 1969. I just noticed the 48 has gold painted cylinder heads so I looked deaper in the old pics and found completed pics of the two bikes and sure enough the 48 even had the spokes painted gold. What was I thinking. The 52 was a hot rod 86cu in with a 750 honda front end with a second disk added. The last bike is a 1958 Ariel Square Four 1000cc that I also had at the time.
