I read an old post from 2013 about an old Swedish knucklehead bobber... Here´s some background on that bike I know so well since it was my old friend Per who built it back in the 80's. The old beat up chopper was imported to Sweden from the US by "Custom Cycle" in Uppsala. It was transformed into a cool chop/bobber in the style we both liked back then; lots of rake and extended OEM springers. A tank from a flathead was modified to sit real tight over the rocker boxes to give it that loooow look. Those builds didn´t handle that great at low speed, but who cared as long as it looked good!
After a couple of years the frame was modified again and the springer was shortened. My (!!!) old saddle and rear fender ended up on Per's bike, and most of the chrome was stripped. Olive drab was the natural choise of color. The bike was then sold on and eventually ended up in mr. Vikmo's collection and MCM Magazine featured it in 1993.
