Hi everyone.

So here we go.
Got myself an old lady last year. Xlh 1000 1974. Good used, so I gave her some make-up.

Stock engine but whit a kick conversation, 21" front wheel with shaved legs.
Penga zephyr handlebar with stock brake master and PM cable clutch ass.

Dual 70' headlights and a grilled brake light.
Stock rear brake, and single front discbrake.

Installed 11" covered rear shocks and a duck tail fender.

DIY candy flake red gastank.

Pictures will be linked.

Excellent! I have a thing for Nimbuses, so due to your location, I am going to rely on you for pics of them in the wild.

Welcome!

Here was my first bike.

A Honda VT 600 Shadow 89'. Got it from stock, and bob'ed it with a lowmounted swingarm, new tires, new paint DIY, and smaller customizations.

My girlfriend was thrilled about riding the back, but when i rebuild it to a bobber she got sad. Winter came and i sold it with a profit around 2000$ (Denmark has high taxes on vehicles).

A couple of days later I encountered a bargain. A HD Xlh Ironhead 1000. for halv the market price. It had some smaller issues, but... It a HD!

here she is. https://dk.pinterest.com/liblasse/xlh-1974-brat-sporster/

She has now been under the knife for a year, and she is drive-able.
-DIY Candy red flake Paint
-rebuild master brake cylinder
-new OEM clutch ass, switched from Mike's hydra clutch
-new kickstarter ratchet gear, 1 tooth was broken
-OEM rear brake, switched from some homemade forward control
-Shaved forks, with new seals
-Ducktail rear fender
-21'' front wheel
-New Penga Zephyr handlebars
-PM Cable clutch lever ass.
-Old 2x square fog lights yellow tin as driving light.

But still one wrong thing with Her... A strange tapping noise from the area of the compensate sprocket. It sounds like a "Knock" when shes getting warm... Here is a video :

-It isnt the bendix gear!
-It isnt the chain (Adjusted after manual) banging on the case or cover, no metal in the oil!
-It isnt a tooth missing on the basket or Comp. sprocket.
-It isnt the pushrods, adjusted correct!

What can it be???
