Every year the MoCo puts on a ride in show at Daytona during Bike Week. And every year it seems a little smaller and less exciting.

This year will be different. Harley-Davidson has partnered up with American Iron Magazine, and Motorcycle Bagger magazines to sponsor this ride in show with the goal of expanding the event and the participation of a wider assortment of machines.

Please consider this our invitation to YOU to spread the word among custom, classic and race Harley riders to bring some world class motorcycles to this event.

The official Harley-Davidson Ride In Motorcycle Show, presented by American Iron Magazine, will be on Beach Street, not far from the old Rossmeyer Harley dealership, on Wednesday, March 14 starting around 9 am.

Lots of classes and great trophies, and we sure would love to have a terrific turn out of great machines (classic, mild, wild and radical customs, bobbers, baggers, choppers, and home brews) there to grow this show.
Please note, we will be photographing a few of the motorcycles for features in American Magazine and Motorcycle Bagger magazines.

Hope to see lots of JJ forum members and machines at this show.

I cant think of one good reason to go to Bike Week. Between the overzealous cops, price gouging local establishments, posers, trailer queens, yankees and the wildly unpredictable weather, Daytona just sucks.
Maybe if I had a corporate card to expense the entire trip with it might motivate me to deal with all of the hassles I have mentioned. That would be the only way.

Sturgis however is a much better event. Much more intersting area to ride in, much friendlier locals, more stable weather, and the cops tone it down a notch.

I'll never go back to Daytona.

Buzz.. You riding the shovel that Kip built for you in this ride in show?
I wish! Kip built that Shovelhead for Chris Maida, editor of American Iron Magazine. Great bike!

Not sure yet what I will be riding. Hope to see lots of JJ members there with some cool customs and choppers.

I agree with all of the above.
