Hey There,

Just bought a set of cups, cones and bearings for the headstock for my '52 Triumph 6t? I have a top cup in the frame already, but want to replace it with the new one. What is the best way to get it out (it's in their pretty good)?

Also anyone got any advice on instructions for installing the cups and cones and making sure it's all set up right?

What's the best grease to use for the bearings?

Cheers, Greg

I use a long punch and go through the top of the headstock working in a clockwise direction then vise versa for the top. Really clean out the headstock before fitting the new cups & stick them in the freezer for a couple of hours before fitting, they should drop in a treat..if you need to give them some "help" to make them fit, use a block of wood and a decent hammer to drift them in.
