This bike was my friends Brothers and has been sitting in a garage for the past six years. The wheels had a few bad bends in them and it needed some TLC, but I got it for $1500 with 5,000 miles on it. I started by cleaning and red koting the tank, cleaning the carbs and going over everything. I picked up a set of Scrambler wheels for $300 and put some new Dunlops on. Got a cafe seat as well as new shocks, 520 chain and lightened sprockets, rotors and pads and little odds and ends. I have D&D 2 into 1 pipes and new jets to install after my airbox removal kit arrives. Can't wait to put a ton of miles on it

Yup 2001 it is. the average price that I've seen them go for by me is about $4500, so even though it needed work I still did good. He is moving from Ny to Georgia I believe so he just wanted to unload it before the move. A few years back I was interested in it and he wanted $3000, so playing the waiting game really worked out for me.

2001 is a good year.. better cams then later years and other stuff :)

the difference you will feel after you remove the OEM airbox and put pod filters on is HUGE!

you will get a whole "new" bike after doing that.. and the inlet sound is nice to!

i have the OEM service book and alot of other stuff on PDF´s.. just shout if you need any help info etc :)

cheers
