so after gettin her ruinnin SWEEEET, i decided i never did do that... hahhahahhaa...

she sat for a year or so, then ive put about 1000 miles on it...

so its time, shouldve done it before...

how much oil? and everyone tells me 50 weight

Drain oil...fill up oil bag to about 1 inch under filler neck...start bike and add oil until it stabilizes to 1 -2 inches under filler neck...

My 68 uses 3 quarts in the oil tank and 3/4 of a quart in the primary, I have used Castrol 20-50 for the last 15 years, and no issues.

I run straight fiddy!
But it's hotter then crap down here most of the time and even fiddy turns into olive oil in about five minutes....

Take the time to drain the crankcase if you still have a drain plug under the bike (not the two under the tranny) if all is working right you should have only about 1 oz of oil in the motor at any given time, but drain it out anyway.
