How much HOK .015 silver flake would I need to thoroughly cover a Triumph plunger frame, 5'' trailer fender & Wassell tank?

i'd say 1Ltr would be more than enough.
the thing is covering the frame, you have to be real methodical to get even / total coverage and despite that most of the material gets shot into the atmos'. also if not familiar with flake stick a couple of ball bearings / marbles inthe pot to keep the flake aggitated and in suspension.

Only if you are using a siphon gun. If you have a top feed HVLP type gun, empty the cup out between coats to prevent the flake from settling to the bottom.

That depends on the base color. If you're using silver flake, do yourself a favor and lay down a regular metallic silver base coat first. Otherwise the answer is way, way too much.
I should have asked: what quantity should I purchase? In ounces?
Try TPCglobal they will walk you through an order and amounts and products needed, they have everything. great customer service...
wizza, i bought 4oz from tcp not knowing how much i would need.....i painted/flaked most of a stock triumph tank, front fender, rear fender, headlight nacelle, oil tank, battery bx cover and the bodywerk that covers from the seatpost back to the axle plates [you`ll have to see it to understand] about 75/85% coverage and only used about 1 1/2oz of the flake! i shot mine a pearl/candy blue on a silver base and flake w/fuschia flake....the amount of flake you`ll use is in direct accordance with the base color..........i didnt go with "bass boat" style flake as i didnt want a purple motorcycle.......theres a website out there that states "flake a car with one jar" and they only sell in 4oz jars..........your results may vary, but i would say 4oz is plenty!
