The studs are too far back on the lip of the seat on those West Eagles. It's a pain in the ass. And you're right to be concerned, if you have to bend the springs over to seat on the frame you're setting them up to fail prematurely. Only real option has been suggested: angled stantions. Or, alternatively, you can change the angle on the spring mounts on the frame. But either way, if you don't line up the eyelets, it won't last as long...
