Hinkley Triumphs OK Here?

Well now I've done it. Among all the other projects and parts bikes in "the barn of broken dreams" just picked up a 99 Thunderbird 900cc on the cheap. Deal didn't include an owners manual. Runs nice but I'm having trouble finding info and specs. I'd like to find out more about this "new" Triumph and a shop manual would be a great start. Also would be interested in a place for accesories like a luggage rack and windscreen. PM if the thought of admitting that new Triumphs are cool scares you. Flame away all you purist, but be aware that for the price I couldn't resist this runner....

No flames from me. I like the new Triumphs.
I wasn't a fan until I saw SoCal custom's flat-tracker. Hotcha !
Isnt that like a Twinkie Ive seen them posted here...
I bought a 96 Adventurer new off the showroom in Louisville. I went to the HD shop with 10 grand cash and after 20 years of riding and repairing the brand they wanted me to get on a list of potential buyers. The Tri dealer was happy to see me and my money.
some of the popularity of the Meriden and Coventry Triumphs is due to the quality of the Hinkley bikes,
I like them all.
Maybe the crotch rockets are a bit out of style here. But personally I think those are some of the best bikes ever made and I love 'm despite their uglyness.
All Hinkley Triumphs are cool in my book.
I you ever get the chance, ride one of those triples it will blow your mind.
You could check with Baxter's in Iowa for manuals, etc. They have been a dealer for the new Triumphs.
Hey Frosty! You gonna give it a salt baptism next year???
Just found this by accident. http://www.british-customs.com/

Hey, that's not bad at all. No passenger pegs huh.

Would like to take it out there Bill to see how far into Nevada I could go. Guess it depends on how many of the merry band of missfits go and if I'll have room. Will still take the KLR to ride on the salt and hills. The little dirtbike doesn't like long trips on the road but is an ideal salt bike. Damn, looking forward to Bonneville '12 and seeing everyone. Sleet and snow possible in Chicago tonight.
elmigel13, nice looking bike there.

Found this, http://www.nirvana-motorcycles.com/Triumph T300 Service Manual.pdf Now if I could find a owners manual for a 1999 Thunderbird 900 I'd be set. Thanks.
Miguel,

Hey neighbor. I've seen that bike running around Upland and Rancho. Always looked like a fun little Bonnie!
Hey Frosty try the Haynes catalogue. I have a manual for the '91 to '95 bikes. I put 30K on a 98 T-Bird and had fun with just about every freakin mile. Bullet proof motors and fun as hell in the corners. and Kristine says hello...
