As I had suspected......5 minutes in the blast cab......2 hours on the polishing wheel (because I forgot to replace the sand w/ glass bead and it roughed the shit out of this beauty)....chrome sucks....but what`s hidden underneath was Poor Man`s Gold

more specifically....old mock-up....further along now....and a few changes to the scheme after I tore it back down....fabbed the springer myself....old Bates seat pan (courtesy of 4 Aces Wes).....need to finish sissybar I started yesterday

here`s some of the springer parts.....wanted some unique rockers...they were the only part of the springer I can`t take credit for....a buddy cut those out on a Mazak Laser for me.....the rest I made.....clevises and all hardware made on manual machines....learned to program CNC mill and burned out the trees and spring plate....I need to get the front and rear wheels back on the frame (with tires) and get the springer legs cut to the right length and then I can Tig them up (Soon as GumbyChuck teaches me the fine art of Tig)....should have motor rebuilt and bike done by April `06

best thing to do is (classified information .....top secret) take a magnet with you when you`re looking at lights......not stick?......chances are good that it`s brass underneath the chrome....even if it`s cracked around the mount hole, as most are,a torch and some silver solder will fix it right up
