I welded steel rod around the periphery of the badge and I'm doing a frenching type job. I'm using those vintage Comiskey Machine badges that have a scallop pattern on them, the kind Chopperdave had on his bike.

I'm thinking about what color to paint the tanks. I'm gonna paint all the metal again, it's time to redo the bike. The frame will be touched up only, I'm not taking the bike apart, I can't live without the damn thing.

Now if my Triumph was running........

id pressure test them to make sure ya didnt pinhole anything welding the rod on.....

you dont want to find out after you bondo/paint. because of course it will only be a teeny tiny pinhole....but thats only if you dont test it...

if you test it...of course no pinholes are going to show up..

at least if you have half the luck as the most of us thats whatll happen.

I Kreemed 'em with my own special formula, they won't leak, but I might.

Caffeine, gimme some paint ideas, please.

In fact, gimme a price to paint the things, I'll do all the bodywork and get 'em in primer.
