Hello to everyone. Like the title says I'm from N.E.Pa.
Been riding for 30 years or so but sold my dresser a little while back.
Recently got the itch to build a bike or possibly buy a SuperGlide.
Then it happened. Got a call from a picker friend of mine telling me about a house he was cleaning out and there was a disassembled Harley in the basement. Turned out to be a 74 FXE. Sweet
Made an offer and its now home in my shop. Owner bought it new and three years later decided to tear it apart to build a chopper. Never happened and he quit. Have no idea why but after 40 some years of sitting I brought her back to life today. Sounds and runs solid but there's a lot to do to get her road worthy. Im excited to have an old shovel and Im also pumped I found this site.

Y-you mean the PO hadn't completely disassembled the FXE and lost half the parts when he moved house? You mean it's together and RUNS?

Something fishy here. An unlikely story.

Welcome, Statesblue. There's a few Pennsylvania guys on the JJ, all notable for being scum.
