Putting a V-Twin HD Springer on my '84 Ironhead with 3 deg. bearing cups. Rear springer legs come up short, does any body make a stainless steel extension to meet up to the top clamp or am I making one?

What does it measure from the casting to the top of the tube? A stock springer measure about 2 3/4" I could be the neck on the frame is too thick, or do you have some spacers below the neck and the springer?

The springer is from a shovlehead, the neck on the ironhead is longer plus the 3 deg. bearing cups is what's making the springer come up short. I can lengthen the neck stem, was just hoping I could by a rear leg extensions.

Shovelheads never came with spinger front ends. Is it aftermarket? Can't tell much from your pic.

Why 3 degree bearing cups?

It's a V-Twin Springer, the 3 deg. bearings kick the front end out for the look I want.

If those are from vulcan then I've heard good reports on them. If seems they also sell a more complete kit with the stem.
