Experts,
I have a chance to goto rocky mts for several weeks later this year. QUESTION - on TC88, 96 and 103 motors - will the FI unit compensate for the higher altitude ? My guess is yes - but how much can it compensate without a new fuel map?? What about going through the mnts at 5k - 11k feet ? What about staying in Denver where altitude is 5k feet ? What about fuel mapping ? Need your experience / advice. Thanks phd

I am no expert, but I have ridden My 06 FLH with 95 inch kit and FI over Beartooth pass and around the Rocky Mountains for several years with no issues at all. Except for snow.

It may be a slightly different set up but I went from the 115 degree Nevada desert to the 36 degree Sonora Pass at about 10000 ft in a matter of hours and my FI sporty never skipped a beat. I wouldn't worry about it. I've been over the Rockies on it too (not as high) and no problems.

It will be fine. I've been all over the lower 48 and never had even a hiccup. Enjoy the trip.
