first number is Number is 34 or 74 * 703 * 65

Is this a 65 model, It has a ratchet top and a non kick cover.

I put it in an old 5 speed box to keep it safe and had it on the floor of the garage. apparently I have a termite problem. They ate the box and dragged dirt all over the tranny. I got it clean and popped the top, it looks good inside and I should be able to finish cleaning the outside pretty well. They eat plastic as well as paper and wood. Word to the wise, pests can damage everything.
Thanks guys.

Yep on the pests, i have 2 kids in there 20's !!! Standard 1965 & up electric. start trans. after 65, there are no more date codes on trannys,& if it's newer than 65, i wouldn't want it anyway !!! I'm shure there all marked the with **-&&&-65, but nothing to identify the production year. Unless someone has more info, thats what i have come to know !!!
