What program do you use for drawing and posting code. Looking at the contoured sides ... did you use a ball nose endmill for finishing? You are right, 7075 is strong stuff ... Aircraft/Aerospace industry uses it a lot, but stainless wouldn't be a bad idea. 300 series would be fine right?

Stainless is very strong correct. But it is very brittle so not a great idea since it will snap instead of bending. U would not want that to happen. Especially in the front.
Comparing the mechanical properties of the "30X" grades of stainless and 1018 cold rolled steel, the percent of elongation at yield is comparable at around 35%-45% so it wouldn't appear to be any more brittle than the cold rolled. I'd use the correct grade of stainless without hesitation. Polished, of course!

Yes u r right but most people use 303 or 304 which was what I was referring to in which I made a rear axle for a customer which snapped on him as he was taking off luckily he was not going fast. But from there on I choose my stainless very carefully.
