What year did they start and stop having the oil run through the frame and the oil tank was made to the frame?

Would one be worth buying or doing anything with?

The guy keeps telling me its a harley. he could be wrong. I was thinking tho that harleys did do that some years ago but I could be wrong I don't know that much about them. What years did the triumphs do that then?

I can only speak for the pre Evo Harleys but Harley has Never used the frame for oil in production bikes. Harley uses a seperate oil tank or one half of the left hand gas tank on some early models and most 45's. If the frame your looking at looks like this, it's a late 60's early 70's Triumph 650/750 frame. I hope this helps. Good Luck.
