My only running bike at the time is a 1971 norton commando with a fiberglass tank. Walked in last night and it is dripping gas from a spot on the bottom.

What is the best way to fix this? Is there a special sealer for plastic or glass tanks? putty or epoxy tank repair or what?

Best bet, maybe only bet, for glass tanks is the Caswell epoxy kit. I've treated 4 or 5 tanks with it, kinda nervous shit to use but works great so far. Also kinda expensive, they say their bike kit will treat two tanks, (or double coat one tank) if you just mix half of it, but it can be real hard to cover inside of tank completely with just half the kit mixed.
