Just picked up the first Pay Up Sucker Publications issue of Garage. I have yet to go through the whole mag, but production is top notch. The mag looks great. Very nice. I read about 50 mags a month (no shit, and yes I'm a freak) and this thing is as well put together as any. It is also apparent that JJ hasn't stomped all over Stoners style as the mag remains the way it was.

Of course I picked it up at JJ's number one outlet, Wal-Mart. I usually don't shop at Wal-Mart, but was there by chance. Regardless of what you think of Jesse James, this cat is the next Oprah or Martha Stewart. Hands in lotsa pies. You gotta applaud the guy cause you know the industry needs a mag like this, well written, beautiful layout, excellent production. The Horse is a literary mess, and the other shit is, well shit unless you like that crazy 80's pro street chopper shit. Did I mention most of the other bike rags are shit?

Dice and Garage to the rescue. If they would only send the Nov. issue that was returned non-deliverable.

Thanks for steppin' in Mr. James and spreadin' the word.

Boa, Shooty is just jealous that he doesnt have any 8x10s of Evan sittin on his bike.

And how could they pass this up as a cover, it shows where their heads were at that month, I guess I had nothing to offer them.

Rock, ignore these geeks.

Rock, don't listen to any of these dudes slamming you. Number one, when they were 16 they were probably smoking to much weed and spanking the monkey 24/7, number two, they are as geeky and gay as all the "posers" they slam. The only diff between them and the rubs that ride the big, bright, billet shit, is they ride "ol skool" bikes and think everyone else is a loser.. even funnier how they slam the dumb articles in the Horse, yet spend hours on these forums going on and on about what is gay and not..
Any guy that needs to be in a club that basically consists of guys standing around in a garage, slicking their hair back and talking about how everyone else is gay, well... fill in the blanks.
The real players are not on these forums slamming people, if they are here, they are quietly watching and every once in a while, they pipe in with real advise, otherwise they are busy working or riding.

March to your own drummer and ingnore the pinheads, they don't speak for anyone other than geeks in clubs and on forums.

The horse has some of the most poorly written articles I've seen in a bike magazine. Seems like the powers that be just give writer jobs to all of their friends, regardless of their talent or ability.

That's the other thing, half of the articles are written by the bike owners, not by a professional. I'm not trying to insult anyone, or pur anyone down, but it shows. I am no writer, and couldn't do any better.

In reading all this bullshit about who's rag sucks more ass, I think this board should publish it's own mag/rag. No kidding.

With the kind of talent regularly contributing (pics/words/artwork/building) here, why the fuck can't we come up with something? And no, it's not the beers I had at lunch talking (maybe).

It's a great idea, it's just a matter of financial backing and the amount of work that goes into it. Getting people to meet deadlines etc... I do agree though, the quality of bikes I've seen on this board is pretty impressive.

I just thought I would increase my post count.And help push this back to the top cause i spend most my time on here instead of buildin anything.

I guess I would not fit in with the Horse requirements cause I like my bikes Shiney.Probably never see one of my bikes in it.

PS by the way I havent bought a Easyrider mag in 7 or 8 years but my daughter had to go to the doc yesterday so while waiting on her I bought one in the bag opened up and found I had wasted 6 bucks. I would not wipe my ass with it.I mean I flipped thru it and read absoultey not one story and thru it behind the seat in my truck.You talk about one thats jumped the shark.

Man, I just wasted 10 minutes of my life, and didn't learn a fuckin' thing about motorcycles.

FWIW- I wish The Horse would use spell check. I read it cover to cover, don't they? I wish Dice would give copy/specs to the bike being featured instead of a story about a guy passing out and getting tea bagged by his friend who dresses like a pirate. Those are the only chopper rags that have bikes I can stomach.
