How so?

The Horse leaves a lot to be desired. I think it's the best biker magazine out there, but if someone wanted my constructive criticism I would have a few things to say as a consumer. I don't subscribe to it. I did at one time. Now I just pick it up when I come across it and it looks interesting.

See issue's 1-61 I think what he means is that the horse focuses a lot of attention on being a "hardcore biker" magazine in the stereotypical sense of what a "hardcore biker" is.

because "Frisco" bikes were never ratty death traps with a 40ft jockey shiter! They were made out of function and to look good.

a real frisco styled chopper influenced from the bay area style of the 60's.

In reading all this bullshit about who's rag sucks more ass, I think this board should publish it's own mag/rag. No kidding.

With the kind of talent regularly contributing (pics/words/artwork/building) here, why the fuck can't we come up with something? And no, it's not the beers I had at lunch talking (maybe).

It's a great idea, it's just a matter of financial backing and the amount of work that goes into it. Getting people to meet deadlines etc... I do agree though, the quality of bikes I've seen on this board is pretty impressive.

That thing is classic. Of course when I was growing up in the bay area most of the choppers had been replaced with FXR's sportin mag wheels and flamed gas tanks. Always fast. Now it's all about streamlined baggers up there.

If you think about it, right now is one of the coolest times to be involved with motorcycles. We have our super heroes and our super villians! Lots of cool bikes being built. The trendier things get, the stronger the subculture and counter-culture will get. I hope anyway.
