I just got my 65 Triumph on the road today. It's a rigid frame with a stock length 68 front end. No speedo but somewhere :)) ) around 40 mph the front wheel begins to bounce. It gets worse upon deceleration....any ideas what may be ailing? Theres 8oz of 30 weight in each fork leg...tire balance maybe? All help is appreciated...

Lift your bike so the front wheel is off the ground . Then mark the bottom and turn the tire 90 degs and see if it falls to the same spot . if so add wieght ubtil it don't . Also give it a spin and see if there is a hop in the rim or tire make sure the bead is seated all the way around .
