I'm cleaning up my forks and the seals are leaking. I removed the slider to replace the rubber fork seals but find out there are none. The tin ring should have told me but I'm a newb with these forks.. Come to find out my 67(or older) forks do not come with rubber seals but with bushings.

I can't find anything about removing/replacing these and was told that it's pretty much a lost cause in trying. Which sucks because I shaved the forks while waiting for my seals to come in and was all excited to maybe ride her in a short few days..

My bike is a 53 but I've learned so far that this creature isn't pure. I did learn my forks are 67 and older. Any help would be sweet.

..Anyone need a set of 33.4mm fork seals? heh..

The shields I had tore apart when I went to remove them. Super old.
So to remove these I have to get creative? You helped me a lot, thanks for your time.
I see people dont like giving these things away.. Another note, do you know if I have to use that rasper thing the manual states?
