Hey guys I have a bad primary leak and I was wondering if anyone has used ATV sealer or Anaerobic Sealer? Just wondering what is better to use.
I had one of my bolt holes welded because it was cracked. I filed it down and it looks flush. I know guys take a peice of glass and plane the whole thing down but im not about to pull my whole clutch basket and compinsating sprocket right now.

so just looking for a good fix for the summer and figure out a better fix over the winter.

can you see the leak? Meaning, can you see how big the gap is that it is leaking from, or is the gap too small to see with the nekkid eye? If it is too small to see with the eye you might get away with a little yamabond on the gasket.

Don't use atv silicone, leave that for the water pump on your car, you don't want little bits of floating around. Like Skinthead said, try a little Yamabond, that might stop it if the gap is not to big.

I picked up a gasket of ebay that has a steel core with a orange rubber material on each side. It is a little thicker than the Cometic one Jesse posted. Can't remember the sellers name. Just another option. Good luck!

I just used loctite 510 sealer with a shitty gasket from harley. if this doesnt help im gunna order those Cometic gaskets . they look mint

put the 510 locktight on my gasket and left it over night oil tight so far. im gunna run it tomorrow and see how much oil leaks out. good fix so far
