thats what there supposed to put out and a filter will work fine. my pan only does 5psi and i have this filter on it.
external oil filter on ss 350 sprint
So I wanted to do an external oil filter on my 74 sprint...but from what Ive heard so far it wont work because the oil pump only puts out 3-5 psi.Any ideas?Is it a no go?

Sprints have a intenal filter, what are trying to achieve?
Thanks was told it wasnt enough psi over on the sprint forums.thats what there supposed to put out and a filter will work fine. my pan only does 5psi and i have this filter on it.
