I thought the knuck and pan cases had a different deck height.
Engine Case Mating Dragstews?
Hey Guys i have a Right Knuckle Case and a chance at a mint 55 left case . I cant think of any reason these cant be paired up . CAN YOU?

They share the same deck height...
May see the need to square the surfaces to each other.

Say....With the Knuck right side case....
Just wondering if you was planing to use a Knuck top end..??
Being the pull back for top end oiling would be easy with the breather valve and case port being there...(Push Rod vacuum)
Also V-Twin offers a spacer for the front mount on the Knuckle to get to the same speck of Pans and later motors and frames...
It's made of Alum. could tig on and match to left case..

Yep i the plan is build a Knuckle that can hold up . I like the idea of the Timken bearing .

The 55-68 Timken is a great up-grade from the 1" taper straight bearing of the 54 and back..
One up from that is the 69-up Timken bearing..
There are a few company's that make a left side case with the late bearing..

These Boys don't screw around...Their left side case is meaty...No where near the looks of the OEM case.

This case is so close to the Looks of stock that it would be very hard to tell.

Ive looked around and i cut a deal for an oem case with title . so thats the way im goin g for now
