Well I cut the rear fender on my 95 sporster today. I ditched that nasty stock light. I made a side mount plate for my model a tail light. My question is my harley wiring harness has a black wire, blue wire, and a red with yellow strip. My light has only two wires, a green and a red. My ASSumption was easy enough. Black wire to green tail light(ground). And red with yellow strip hot to red tail light. The tail light stays dark, and only works when you step on the brake. If I hook up the blue wire to hot, the tail light comes on bright like the brake is on. And the freaken license plate bottom light never comes on. I've replace the bulbs with new ones. They are the correct bulb, and are not blown. PLEASE help. I need my crap to work so I can ride to work in the morning without getting killed. Thanks
