I am in the process of building a dual carb shovelhead. I used the front and rear head leaving the front one completely stock and just reversing the duties of the intake and exhaust valve on the rear head. Also moved the new exhaust port(old intake port) and canted out the other direction so it would miss the front head. I just about have all the heads done intakes casted and ready to weld on etc. But just as you would have guessed i am running into a wall on the cam shaft. I thought about using the stock cam. Just remove the rear two lobes and machine new ones welding them in the correct position to make the rear head breath properly. It could be done yes... but i was wondering if anyone new of a good cam builder that could help me out and maybe even make the entire thing for me.
