I really want to see the whole bike. I could not find more pictures of it on the loudfastrules blog:

Thank you. To say I am disappointed...well, let's just say the thing really lacks lines and proportion. It seemed so cool until I saw the big picture.

Second that. What kind of frame is that? The lines on it are :(
Insert derogatory comment about Japanese bike builders here. The XR1000 has been calling to me for a long time.
I've seen plenty of really shitty american bike builders win shows.
That Motor is Sayin
GET ME THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!!

You're 100% right. Sorry to pick on the Japanese. This thing actually makes me angry. I first saw an XR1000 at Laconia when I was 17 or 18. It was ridden by a club guy who noticed me checking it out. I knew it was different but not completely sure how. The rider pulled out of gas station, did a textbook wheelie, and the sound has stuck in my head for years.

It sounds strange, but that bike pisses on my memory.

Not real sure what this means, or who it's in response to. If it's in response to me, I've followed the Japanese chopper scene for a very long time, and always thought they had a leg up and a day, on the west, since the scene blossomed over there. After liking what I saw enough to ask for more pictures, I decided just don't like THAT bike. Capice?
Could be worse, it could have been slotted into a dresser...
Wasn't directed at anyone. That's my favorite engine, bar none, which is why it kills me to see anyone treat it like that. I've seen Japanese builders do amazing things. This just isn't one of them.

...or maybe if it were still in it's original cardboard box for $23,000
^^ A buddy in Holland bought a NOS XR-1000 engine in a cardboard box from a local dealer for around $ 8000.. this was in 1992..

Yeah that was a bloody waste wasn't it. I think the box was worth about 8 grand. Either that or it was just worth 8 grand less the minute you opened it. I would LOVE to build an XR engined long chop. But if you're gonna chop an XR, I do think it better not suck.

Righteous. I'm going to go youtube 'XR wheelie' now. Haha. Sorry your memory was spoiled.

But yeah. Horrible build. Has nothing to do with the builder's nationality, though. =P
Hey here is the link for a BUNCH of pics of that bike and if ya use GOOGLE translator you can read about it as well. It's by Authentic Motor Service Japan.
