Ok, my battery so i thought died the other night, so i ordered a 8 cell ballistic battery. A day later its dead. So i started checking, ended up i lost the stator voltage reg..
The new stator/ voltage reg is in, and when running i cant get the battery over 12.75 at best. Do i need another battery??? Any experiences would be great.

jonny: thanks for the good info! I did get a new charging system, so my guess is the battery took a dump! I will check in the morning after its charged.. It's over 13.31 now,, wishful thinkin!

its not on the charger anymore, i disconnected it after i read that. Im going to re check the voltage in the morning and hopefully its still good.

Checked it this morn, after it sat disconnected all night- sittin at 13.26 I'll check it running later

the amp output would tell you a bit more then just the voltage.

jonny: The stator went bad! and i thought it was just a battery. I put all new charging system in after i put the Ballistic Battery in. Thanks for the info, i ripped on it last night, and checked it a couple times, all is well
