I hate the mags too, but I may have to live with them unless anyone has some spokers lying about and wants to trade.

I've seen pics of a sporty in Freeway magazine that had the mags painted black. The bike didn't look bad, kind of street tracker style. It might not be the look you're after, but it's better than "as cast" mags.
